Chief of Operations (Ops) or also known as “Ops” 

1. The OPs is required to pass the OTS, OCC, and GDPR exams according to STARFLEET regulations 

2. The Chief of Ops is responsible for Posting on both Crew and Federation Page (at least 5 times per month), posting events (holodeck time) for the crew, which includes the AWAY MISSIONS

3. He or she heads the activities committee. 

4. He or she has the authority to choose their own team and create the project budgets.

5.  “Ops” is the Roadmaster for any convoys and is responsible for planning stops, rendezvous points and objectives for the trip. To summarize the Roadmaster for any event, and/or functions. As Roadmaster is responsible for planning any stops, rendezvous points and objectives for the trip. This includes POSTING (or telling the stellar cartography [a.k.a. webmaster] the

10. He or she must act like a quartermaster on away missions

11.  He or she shall compile and present to members recommendations for hotel and travel arrangements.

12. The Chief of Operations shall start planning for the different conventions that the group decides to attend.

13.  He or she will have any and all pertinent information about the convention at the discretion of the group.

14. This may include, but is not limited to, gas, registration, and room prices for whoever is attending from the ship.

15. If group arrangements are made, “Ops” shall designate a timetable for those arrangements to be finalized. In the event that the Chief of Operations will not be attending, he or she shall another person to act as “Ops”.

16. The Ops will give a report at monthly meetings report on the status of any upcoming events or travel.  

17. This position is appointed by the CO, XO, and/or SO. 

18. He or she is the Fourth Officer of the ship.
