Chief of Communication Officer

The Communication Officer maintains current records of all members, including their personal, contact, and emergency information. He or she chairs the Awards and Promotions Committee. He or she also keeps an archived record of all ship’s documents, history, and other pertinent information regarding the ship. The Communication Officer acts as the Secretary of the ship. He or she shall have 1 (one) week from the end of the meeting to make arrangements to write up and mail out the meeting log to those who do not have a computer. Then the meeting log will be archived under the webpage members section group. The SO will develop a flyer for the ship and its events for distribution and given to the Communication Officer for making the announcement.
