Kecksburg UFO Festival

July 22 to 24, 2022

On Dec. 9, 1965, Kecksburg residents reported that a fireball streaked through the sky and then an object showed up in the nearby woods. Conspiracy theories are still being thrown around today as to what really happened. The local newspapers reported on it, a documentary called “Invasion on Chestnut Ridge” was released in 2017 and eyewitnesses still swear by what they saw that night. Was it aliens, a meteor or something else entirely? We may never know, until then it’s a great reason to have a festival!

Today, the Laurel Highlands celebrates its paranormal past at the Kecksburg UFO Festival featuring guest speakers, plenty of costumes, fireworks, children’s games, arts and craft vendors with plenty of UFO-themed souvenirs, live music and more.

Event OPEN times are:
Friday: 6pm-9pm      Saturday Noon - 9pm    Sunday Noon- 5pm
We need to be there 1 hour before the opening of the doors.
Parking is CRAZY... so try to get there early.
